Deze 6 jaar oude expressie rijpte in Quarter Casks van 125 liter, afkomstig van voormalige Bourbonvaten, waardoor het contact tussen hout en whisky wordt versterkt. Het typische Lagg-profiel rond rook, citrus en fruit komt duidelijk naar voren, aangevuld met vanille, fudge, zwarte peper en pure chocolade.
Op 56% is dit een bijzonder intense en expressieve whisky, met een lange, rokerige en licht zilte afdronk.
The Lagg Small Batch Quarter Cask highlights the peaty, maritime and generous character of the distillery.
This 6-year-old expression matured in 125-litre Quarter Casks from former Bourbon barrels, enhancing the interaction between wood and whisky. The typical Lagg profile of smoke, citrus and fruit shines through clearly, complemented by vanilla, fudge, black pepper and dark chocolate.
At 56%, this is a particularly intense and expressive whisky, with a long, smoky and slightly salty finish.
